ABOUT
I’m proud to have served 22 years in government, leading cybersecurity, investigative, and physical security programs while at the U.S. Secret Service. During my tenure, I was responsible for overseeing some of the most significant data breach investigations facing U.S. corporate and government institutions. Earlier in my career, I served on three, multiagency task forces including the FBI New York Joint Terrorist Task Force (JTTF), as well as the Secret Service’s Cyber Fraud Task Force and Financial Organized Crime Task Force. These early assignments led me to the understanding that team collaboration and diversity of thought are the true shapers of investigative strategy. After 22 years, I left government to lead the investigations programs at two Fortune 100 companies. During my corporate tenure, I reengineered and recreated the investigative portfolios of these firms to cover a multitude of subjects including high risk insider threat, cyber enabled fraud investigations as well as the creation of two centers of excellence.
Utilizing my CHDS ELP acquired knowledge, I developed a Fusion Center for a corporate entity which brought together a multi-disciplinary “team of teams” to manage the response to global incidents which had potential or real impact on the company.
I have written and spoken on a vast array of cyber investigative and insider threat topics. I’m currently utilizing this cumulative experience to passionately support small and mid-market companies who are traditionally underserved when faced with reputational crisis stemming from insider threats and cybersecurity risk.

HIGHLIGHTS
Congressional Testimony – Committee on Homeland Security; Subcommittee for Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection and Security Technologies
“Recent cyber breaches at retailers, including Target, Nieman Marcus, and Michael’s, have once again brought the public’s attention to the threat of criminals accessing their personal information. While fraud is nothing new, the techniques and scope have risen to a new level. Our increasingly interconnected world, and the advancement of on-line shopping and banking, has made our lives much more convenient, but it has also meant that a sophisticated criminal can steal your account information without ever being in the country. The question then becomes: What is being done about it?”
