Domestic Terrorism 2.0: What are the Current Trends and Threats?

In this presentation from the 2019 Alumni Professional Exchange and Continuing Education Workshop (APEX), Dr. Seth Jones discusses the evolving threat of domestic terrorism. While the traditional Salafi-Jihadist movement is becoming decentralized and deteriorating into smaller, loose networks, we’ve experienced a resurgence of homegrown terrorist threats. His research shows an increase in far-right extremism within the United States, as well as Europe.
