About the Speaker:

Ryan Burchnell, a former Executive Director of the Alabama State Police and Chief Technology Officer (ret.) for the Florida Highway Patrol, serves as lead strategist for the FirstNet organization at AT&T. Ryan is responsible for policy and market development efforts focused on public safety technical innovation designed to meet the rapidly evolving needs of our Nation’s first responders. He is a graduate of the 255th Session of the FBI National Academy, holds a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security and Defense from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Florida State University, and a Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police – Committee on Homeland Security and represents AT&T with the Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCert) and the IJIS Institute.
