From Jerry Monier – Associate Director of Research and Development, The National Center for Biomedical Research and Training at LSU
The CHDS Master’s program is a guided path towards the development of collaborative thinkers. This isn’t a group think environment. Rather students are encouraged to present and challenge the ideas and thoughts of instructors and their fellow students. As a senior manager with a state emergency management and homeland security agency, the ability to “poke the box” of the establishment has provided a new perspective to how we do our business. The synthesis of academic inquiry and practitioner experience provided by the CHDS Master’s program will provide a significant ROI to the sponsoring organization.
