Ethics and Critical Decision-Making Curriculum Development Workshop

April 11-12, 2018  |  Potomac, Maryland

Our country is confronting more frequent and more complex homeland security challenges each year. To an ever-increasing extent, leaders are called upon to make life and death decisions as they allocate finite resources under extreme time constraints.

Recognizing this, the Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) brought together a select group of senior homeland security officials and CHDS alumni for a curriculum development workshop to consider frameworks for ethics and decision-making, and discuss how we can educate and inform the Nation’s homeland security leaders on these topics.

This workshop was held April 11-12, 2018, at the William F. Bolger Center in Potomac, Maryland.
