MET Team in Port Huron for Executive Education Seminar

An Executive Education Seminar for the Port Huron - St. Clair County, MI area was conducted by the Mobile Education Team (MET) on October 4, 2006. Approximately 37 officials attended the seminar, representing a broad cross section of governments in the area including surrounding cities and county, city of Detroit, state of Michigan, FBI, CBP, USCG, city of Sarnia, Canada and Ontario, Canada. Each seminar has two primary goals:

  1. Identification of the policy, strategic and organizational design challenges facing the area's homeland security efforts, and to provide an opportunity for the seminar participants to engage on potential resolutions to their issues of interest.
  2. Specific goals identified by the area's homeland security leadership.

The Center has conducted 75 major urban area and executive education seminars for over 2,300 senior local, state and federal officials that specifically address the homeland security needs of their states and jurisdictions.
